SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for generating sales and scheduling new installations, conversions, moves, and system takeovers by partnering with local branches and contacting leads generated from the inspection program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contact prospects whose homes, with or without an alarm system, have been inspected by one of our Inspection company partners and convert them into satisfied customers
Provide potential customers with relevant information including but not limited to, pricing, product features and benefits
Respond to incoming callers who are responding to the literature left at the home site at the time of the inspections and attempt to convert them into satisfied customers
Follow up on all sales prior to the installation date to ensure prospects are available for the installation and all the necessary requirements have been discussed
Contact cancellations to facilitate a reschedule date

EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) required. Some college courses preferred. A minimum of six months experience in sales/call center preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including monetary units.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Proficiency with computer hardware components and software packages. Ability to work in a 1-800 automated call routing environment.
