We seek a strong Pharmaceutical and Specialty Chemical Sales Representative to join our team!

Summary of Work Performed:
Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
Determine pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and specialty chemical manufacturing customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific chemical products and solutions
Develop and implement annual territory sales plan
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new products
Attend national and regional trade shows
Interface with purchasing, operations, quality assurance, and sales departments to ensure customer orders are processed per customer’s specific requirements
Assist in introduction of new products
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
4 year college degree in Biology, Chemistry, Business or related field
Mimimum 3 years of Chemical Sales or Pharmacuetical Raw Material sales experience
Expertise in FDA & GMP regulations pertaining to drug and biotechnology manufacturing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Superb organizational skills
Ability to consistently close new business, especially over long sales cycles
Enthusiastic, ambitious, self-motivated individual with ability to work independently and with others
Proficient computer skills required – Microsoft Suite, databases, data entry
