Job Description

Already known for outstanding educational standards, Kaplan University is seeking an Admissions Lead Coordinator with the drive and vision to join an inspired team toward higher achievement in serving our valued student population.

The Lead Admissions Coordinator position works closely with the Executive Director (ED), Director of Admissions (DOA), Regional VP of Admissions and the admissions team by providing administrative support and follow up to assist with new student recruitment from lead to start. Specific responsibilities include exceptional customer service, accurate lead data entry, tracking and reconciliation in Campus Vue, timely lead distribution, entering and processing enrollments, creating and maintaining accurate complete student files, transcript tracking, admissions written correspondence, assisting in orientation & event planning/tracking, and running various Campus Vue reports. Managing front desk reception staff.

The Lead Admissions Coordinator is also responsible for understanding, tracking and reconciling marketing data. As this data is the foundation for future marketing plans, it is imperative that the AC works in conjunction with the Advertising team to ensure data integrity and operate within prescribed regulations and standardized Kaplan recruitment procedures. The AC will assist ED with lead distribution, tracking and admissions activity and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • One to two years experience and/or training
  • Some management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be adept in Microsoft Office Suite; especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Available to work some evenings and weekend shifts.
  • Must be adaptable to change; ability to interface effectively with personnel across school departments, home office staff and outside vendors.
  • Meticulous attention to detail required with demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Must exhibit exceptional customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to understand and effect the Admissions Sales Process.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage interruptions.
