Job Description:
EG&G has been a leading provider of technical services to the U.S. Government for over 50 years. We are currently seeking Systems Engineers to support to support Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) acquisition programs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. ASC program offices are responsible for development, production and life cycle sustainment of new aircraft, modifications, and integrated weapon systems. and other programs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The engineer will provide advice, studies, analysis, evaluations, hardware and software design, modeling and simulation, documentation, technical support, and systems integration assistance to a government program office. The engineer will also assist the government program office with requirements analysis and implementation and compliance with engineering directives and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 7 years of research and development or related experience are required. At least 3 years of this experience must be associated with Department of Defense weapon system acquisition. Communication systems, data linking and avionics experience are desired. Candidates should possess excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs; working knowledge of Department of Defense and Air Force engineering policies, procedures and tools.Position requires a minimum of a DoD SECRET Security Clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
