Position Description:
Position Summary : General Purpose of Job: The ideal candidate for this position will be based in the Kansas City or St Louis, MO or Des Moines, IA area. The primary function of the Territory Business Manager is to assist in developing, directing, monitoring and coordinating Sales for CVS Caremark in designated disease state.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy, a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Pharmacy, is seeking a Territory Business Manager to work the Biotech field in the Kansas City or St Louis, MO or Des Moines, IA areas. Territory will cover: IA,KS,MO,ND,NE,and SD. Responsibilities are as follows:
Responsible for developing and maintaining contacts with potential patient referral sources including, but not limited to, social workers, nurses, doctors or any other hospital personnel in the designated marketing region. Actively searches for new referral sources, such as physician practices or service organizations that could increase sales for CVS Caremark Specialty Pharmacy. Actively participates in hospital events, support groups, seminars and related workshops which would contribute to the enhancement of the employer's business. Prepare weekly highlights and physician visit log and submit to Regional Sales Manager. Assist with development of marketing presentations on an as needed basis. Develop and maintain effective relationships with appropriate agencies. Interact with referral sources regularly to maintain good relationships and customer service. Development and maintenance of effective relationships with Insurance and Managed Care entities in targeted market as designated by the Regional Sales Manager. Travel requirements for this position is 60%, 2 - 3 nights overnight travel.
Qualifications:
Qualifications : Qualifications include:
Bachelor degree in a sales, communication discipline or equivalent discipline.
A minimum of 5 years of Pharma or specialty drug experience in a selling capacity.
Demonstrated superb communication skills, which includes interpersonal, written, oral and presentation skills.
Proven sales track record indicating accomplishment and success.
Ability to travel to a multi-state territory a minimum of 60% of the time.
Experience in the Pharmaceutical Sales.
Education : Bachelor degree in a sales, communication discipline or equivalent discipline.
Experience : A minimum of 5 years of Pharma or specialty drug experience in a selling capacity.
