Senior Business Analyst

Description The Senior Business Analyst provides information and insights to drive sales force productivity by leveraging customer, sales and financial data in support of global sales strategies. This position is the leader within Business Development providing the integration of Field Sales rep activity, customer information and sales data for executive dashboards, field sales reports and ad hoc analyses. This position will provide a qualified candidate with a diverse, challenging opportunity offering great exposure in a fast paced environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
Data steward of the Customer Relationship Management system in all its functionality (customer database, contact information, document storage and report creation).
Develop full understanding of system requirements from all user perspectives.
Lead data migration efforts with multi-department team in implementation of new CRM system.
Work with IT and vendor to test and validate new CRM system.
Provide technical assistance with training of CRM users.
Work with IT to create a data warehouse for the CRM and Oracle financial system data.
Create and distribute dashboards and reports.
Provide analyses of business development data focused on trends in activities, sales and markets to provide early recognition to management.
Perform datamining and troubleshoot analyses because of dirty data.

Requirements Education and/or Experience

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business or related field required.

 Minimum of 3 years experience as a business analyst with exposure to sales, finance, systems, reporting and modeling.

 Advanced skills in Access and Excel required.

 Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint required.

 Proficiency in programming languages to manipulate large amounts of data, such as TOAD, SQL, and VBA strongly desired.

 Experience with data warehouses and datamining strongly desired.

 Experience with Business Intelligence software (i.e., Cognos, Hyperion) a plus.

 Experience with Oracle and any CRM system desired..
