Field Service Technician Job

A leading pump manufacturer has an immediate need for Field Service Technician with pump mechanic experience for a direct hire position in the Chicago, IL area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team! Looking for Local Candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Lead new equipment installations, set up as well as troubleshooting existing custom set-ups
  • Spend a major amount of time travelling to and from Customer sites
  • Provides field repair and shop service for pump products
  • Prepare field service reports

Requirements

  • Must have previous pump mechanic experience with split case multistage pumps, barrel pumps, vertical pumps, and process pumps
  • Requires good communication skills as customer interface is critical
  • Must own hand tools
  • A strong machine shop background is important to this job
  • Computer skills are necessary to complete expense and field reports
  • Any vibration or system experience in troubleshooting field problems is a plus
