Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Leads the education and conventions teams by establishing Global development plans, identifying learning opportunities and providing on-going coaching and feedback to individuals in the department.
Develops Global strategies and tactics to deliver superior dental education to the dental professional.
Develop strategies and tactics to deliver the necessary sales training to the sales organization and establish a continuous learning environment.
Communicates knowledge of Zimmer products and their uses with technical expertise.
Interacts with and represents Zimmer to dental professionals and professional dental organizations.
Coordinates and Communicates with dentists and educational organizations to execute strategies and objectives.
Develops and manages Global budget, identifying and allocating necessary resources to deliver on development plans and strategies for education and training.
Develops processes supporting company strategies and activities related to education of dental professionals.
Works closely with Global Marketing and Sales organizations around the world to support educational strategies and objectives.
Leads annual needs assessment


Job Summary
Responsible for the strategic planning and execution of dental education, sales training and convention services functions, generating new ideas to enhance customer and employee skills and learning as a means to drive global sales of Zimmer products. Develops and maintains relationships with key customers, distributors and sales organizations and develops superior competitive strategies to support growth of sales in all markets and regions.

Participates in strategic planning of dental education function, generating new ideas to enhance customer skills and learning as a means to drive global sales of Zimmer products. Identifies business opportunities and potential customers through dental education needs and services.
Sees the potential for novel relationships with key customers and thinks ahead in non-incremental ways to develop superior competitive strategies to support growth and productivity priorities.
Implements new vehicles for communication in response to technological advancement. Chooses the most effective and efficient formats for forums and uses creativity to enhance presentation.
Trains and educates dental education and convention services teams on product, dental techniques, course content and effective presentation styles. Evaluates programs and provides feedback to dental education staff regularly.
Possesses excellent presentation skills and can communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
utilizes skills and competencies in education to gain and enhance customer relationships and promote Zimmer products.


Education/Experience Requirements
B.S. degree required, preferably including formal studies in business, MBA or work on an MBA is preferred. 10+ years managing others and working directly with customers, opinion leaders, technical experts and professional staffs in medical devices or healthcare.
Skill Requirements – Must be proficient with commonly used software.
