Position Summary:
Relationship Managers focus on building strong long-term relationships with our clients, this includes educating clients on E*TRADE FINANCIAL'S wide range of products and services and presenting them with solutions that meet their individual needs. They offer our clients a personal connection to E*TRADE, and help them be successful investors. Whether that involves educating clients to help them to do it on their own or working with them to select an investment plan that meets their personal goals and objectives, our Relationship Managers are ready to make the client experience a great one!

Responsibilities:

 

  • Retain assets of assigned affluent / wealthy households with significant holdings at E*TRADE FINANCIAL by effectively managing an assigned client base and ensuring that all clients receive a superb client experience.
  • Strengthen the client relationship and expand existing client wallet share through effective presentation of E*TRADE’S investment products and services.
  • Proactive outbound calling to existing E*TRADE FINANCIAL’s customer base to drive asset acquisition through customer account consolidation; maintain and update prospect and sales reports accurately.
  • Evaluate your client’s financial situation and identify investment objectives through a comprehensive and customized financial planning process; and provide advice guidance and execution on a variety of investment products and services such as Conservative Investment and Managed Investment Portfolio product offerings.
  • Cultivate current and prospective clients’ relationships and identify opportunities to expand these relationships by responding to sales opportunities with creativity and innovation.
  • May perform additional duties as directed by management.
 

 

Job Requirements

 Requirements:

  • Series 7 and 63 required, Series 66 preferred, Clean U4.  Series 66 must be obtained in applicable states within 90 days of hire date.
  • 3+ years of proactive, successful sales experience in the financial services industry
  • 5+ years of financial services industry experience
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of brokerage/banking products and services
  • Strong history of success in building client relationships and client retention experience
  • Capable of quickly building good rapport with clients, assessing their needs and presenting features and benefits of E*TRADE’s products and services
  • The ability to multi task and work independently with a high degree of quality
  • Must be self-motivated with an outgoing personality and work well in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Group presentation skills a plus.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required
