Compliance Manager - Compliance Testing (Auto Finance and Studen

Description Chase Auto Finance is seeking an experienced associate for a Compliance Assurance Review role. This position is primarily responsible to assist with testing and monitoring for adherence to US consumer and commercial lending requirements with all aspects of marketing, originations, servicing and collections for closed-end consumer loans.   The position will also include responsibility for validating the design implementation of compliance controls and remediation actions in preparation for audits and examinations to ascertain the business line's overall adherence to US banking regulations. 

Responsibilities:

Design and execute risk-based test plans, analyze data from multiple sources to evaluate processes and controls against regulatory requirements and guidance, and make recommendations for strengthening the design and/or execution of controls as needed.   Businesses to be evaluated include, consumer closed end lending such as direct and indirect auto loans and student loans, for regulatory requirements in TILA, ECOA, and FCRA/FACTA among other regulations.
Design and execute testing to validate the implementation corrective action plans aimed at mitigating compliance risk.
Ensure all individual work product is documented accurately and can be leveraged for internal audits or external examinations.
Support the department in reporting results of assessments and evaluations to Corporate Compliance; consult in the design of remediation efforts as needed. 
Support escalated complaint response and new product and system implementation as needed
Establish and maintain highly effective partnerships with Line of Business leaders and staff.
Engage with internal auditors and legal counsel as needed.
Support the design and implementation of the Compliance Management Program.
Maintain the highest professional standards.
 

Requirements

• 5+ years of banking auditing or examination experience in a large, complex financial institution
  
• 4 year college degree
  
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to apply consumer compliance regulatory requirements, including AML/BSA, USAPA, and OFAC
  
• Proven analytical abilities
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Self-directed; ability to develop schedules/project plans and work autonomously to meet deadlines, as well as work effectively in teams/cross functional groups
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Ability to manage frequently changing demands and in a highly matrixed environment.
  
• Working knowledge of and ability to apply MS Office applications such as Word and Excel.
