Lead and manage the daily activities of the North America Materials Management Planning department that manages materials for Surfactant production at 7 plants in the U.S., Canada and Mexico as well Polymers production at the Millsdale plant that includes PA, Polyol, Urethane Foams and Kits. Responsibility includes monitoring the movement of all materials into Stepan plants to ensure that manufacturing and customer’s needs are met. This includes collaboration with all other Supply Chain partners to ensure effective use of inventory working capital and ensuring plant material requirements are received at the right quality, in the right quantity at the right time for consumption. Conduct analyses and recommend methods for continuous improvement. This strategic role is critical to the success of the Global Supply chain.
