Kelly IT Resources is currently looking for a Oracle Development Database Administrator in the Corporate headquarters of our corporate client in Jeffersonville, IN. The Oracle Development Database Administrator (ODDA) will be responsible for installing, configuring, and the design of corporate Oracle databases. The ODDA works on the Application staff team and is highly involved with the development of all Oracle data structures to support the business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategically align proprietary systems with the business processes, ensuring consistent daily functionality for internal and external customers. Lead and develop processes and procedures to debug and troubleshoot applications for end users. Ensure the adequacy and soundness of all business applications. Creation of all data structures and is the final authority for any Oracle objects moved to production. Reviews and provides final authorization for all data structure updates VB6 & PL/SQL that is moved to production. Reviews all Oracle code for the most efficient access techniques. Responsible for regulatory (SOX.etc) data compliance for Oracle Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Demands: BS in Information Technology or related field. 3 plus years of previous knowledge with Visual Basic Programming, Systems development, or Client Server Programming. 2 plus years of Crystal Report development. Experience with databases utilizing Oracle or similar relational database and stored database procedures. Knowledge utilizing VB 6, .NET, TOAD, Oracle PL/SQL.
