Assignment Capsule
As a Business Informatics Process Manager for Taxonomy you will: consult with diverse business areas, identify business requirements, and translate requirements to system specifications. In addition, you will act as a subject matter lead on enterprise taxonomy engagements that provide analysis, design, testing and documentation on enterprise solutions.

  • Design, guide and oversee the development and implementation of processes which meet the requirements of project owners
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with all impacted business areas
  • Create and lead initiatives for special projects, developing a greater understanding of system and environmental issues in the process
  • Review and analyze results
  • Assist other business areas with issue resolution
  • Contribute to final decisions regarding the readiness of production installations

Role Essentials
  • Broad Insurance Industry and/or Humana business knowledge
  • Vision & Scope and/or SRS and/or backlog development experience
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good facilitator/Experience driving consensus amongst several areas
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Proclivity for investigating technical data and getting results

    Role Desirables
  • Significant experience in various insurance operations (such as, network, claims, clinical, SOIT, finance, etc)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
  • Master's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
  • Traditional auditing and data analysis experience
  • Demonstrated experience with relational databases, including Access, SQL Server and Oracle
  • Technical Documentation experience/ability to create technical flow charts (Visio)

    Reporting Relationships
    • You will report to a Business Informatics Manager. This area is under the leadership of the BIICC Vice-President & Chief Financial Officer.
