Student Finance Advisor - Mesa

The Student Finance Advisor is responsible for performing needs analysis and financial aid packaging for all incoming and potential students.

• Provides one-on-one advising for both students and their parents.
• Advise prospective students of all tuition funding sources available.
• Answers student questions with regard to the financial aid process.
• Ensures that the student provides the College with documentation necessary for performing required needs analysis and packaging.
• Conduct entrance interviews, and exit interviews as required by Title IV and company regulations.
• Provides assistance to students with financial aid concerns throughout their tenure at the College.
• Accurately and timely prepare forms.
• Maintain any required employment certifications with applicable state agencies.
• Performs other financial aid related duties as assigned by administration. 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations with specific knowledge of FFEL Loan Programs, PELL Grants, and Title IV.
• Minimum of one year experience administering FFEL and PELL in a college setting.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Experience with Perkins FA programs a plus.
• Ability to work with numbers and to pay attention to detail.
• Computer literacy skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
