POSITION SUMMARY
Accountable for health care quality projects and initiatives through direction setting and leadership. Assimilates information to proactively develop quality activities aligned with company strategies and values. Links the quality management activities to business goals. Proactively builds strong teams and business relationships, both internally and externally. Serves as a resource and subject matter expert (SME) on aspects of the quality program to develop and influence business strategies.
Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the Aetna Better Health Quality Management Program and coordinating methods to improve quality of patient care, which includes oversight of subcontractor quality improvement activities. Responsible for quality management activities including monitoring and auditing performance and health care delivery system. Will assist the Contract Compliance Officer in overseeing operational activities significant to providing health care services that improve member health status and health outcomes.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

This position will be based in Philadelphia, PA after training and orientation to take place in the Blue Bell, PA offices.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
  • Registered Nurse (RN) is required
