Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Healthy and Safety Specialist for our Jacksonville, Florida operations to support the Global Management and Advisory Services Group (GMAS) with EHS projects including:

  • Compliance auditing
  • Environmental management systems
  • Hazardous materials management
  • Permitting.

  • This position will work with an experienced team providing consulting services to to help our clients achieve compliance and operate more efficiently by performing training, audits, and advising clients on successful approaches to EH&S management.

    Candidates must have a related undergraduate degree and experience with EHS regulatory issues, EHS auditing or waste management experience. The position may also involve serving as a Task Manager in support of project implementation (scope, schedule, budget management) working for Certified Project Managers. This position will be a combination of office and field activities. Must be capable of working independently to efficiently complete assignments and require minimal supervision in completion of daily tasks. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Job Requirements
    Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum years of experience: 5-10
  • Education required: BS in Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering
  • Education preferred: MS in Engineering or relevant field of study
  • Registrations/Certifications required: 40 Hour HAZWOPER
  • Registrations/Certifications preferred: FRS Training
  • This position does require travel. Travel amount is up to 25%.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
  • This position does not manage others
