A developmental understanding of the process of wheat purchasing, blending/mixes, milling, and finished product monitoring for ConAgra Mills. Collaborates with external and internal customers by working with special reporting and testing protocols. Maintains laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) documentation and conduct self audits. Utilizes Lab Information Systems (LIMS) for tracking samples and reporting. Work regularly with corporate bake, chemistry, microbiology and wheat labs.
Position Responsibilities
Assure the products meet and/or exceed the requirements specified by our internal and/or external customers including government regulations
Ensure required information for products, policies and procedures are documented, updated, and available when requested
Input on wheat mix & product specification optimization at your location
Utilize LIMS to enter samples, data and/or create reports.
Conduct analysis for data trends on raw material, work in process, and finished product. Analyze trends and/or process control opportunities and challenges.
Attend Milling 101, Baking 101 and Participate in Customer Visits with Quality Techs
Assisting QA Manager at local facility in third party, internal and customer audits
Learn core-responsibilities in the ConAgra Performance System (CPS)
Position Qualifications
Bachelor degree required, Food Science, Biology, Chemistry with internships or 1+ years experience working in a food manufacturing environment in a simular capacity.
