Learn more at the company's Web site, www.aramark.com Essential Functions - Identify and qualify New Business Opportunities within hospitals and surgery centers.
- Maintain pre-set standards and controls for Healthcare processes.
- Exceed quota on rental and direct sale new business for selected market.
- Conducts periodic education and training sessions as requested by the Sr. VP of Sales, RSVP or Director of Sales.
- Develop and present professional proposals and presentations.
- Utilize the approved AUS Sales Force Automation tool to record daily sales activities, create a schedule and provide comprehensive updates on prospects and their movement through the sales funnel.
- Implement AE/AR prospect management process.
- Monitor prospect management report.
- Create quarterly sales report.
- Develop a schedule of regular (weekly/monthly) meetings with the individual Sales Team in the BDE's territory. This would include regularly scheduled communication with Sales Managers, DOSs and Operations Management (as appropriate).
- Initiate regular Target Account strategy meetings with the appropriate Sales and Operations team members.
- Provide input on marketing campaigns and plans.
- Communicate and help execute marketing campaigns and plans.
- Attend tradeshows and industry events.
- Become active members in industry associations.
- Develop relationships with ARAMARK Uniform Services operations and sales support teams.
- Support best practices by sharing information with other BDE's.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
- Ensure adherence to sales policies, including: commission plans, account size. minimums, national account policies/lead process, regional account process.
- Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations that affect operations. Comply with Federal Regulations and Company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in all company locations.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5-7 years in sales, training, or marketing-related role.
- Targeted market knowledge and working experience preferred.
- Geographic sales territory experience.
- Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Consultative Selling Skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation development and delivery skills.
- Strong proposal writing skills.
- Prior formal (classroom) sales training.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
