Provide advice, consultation and coordination of international services for clients with global financial servicing needs, embedding quality, care and ownership over all aspects of international client inquiries. Ensures customer journey meets and exceeds expectations and standards set at a Group level, while ensuring compliance with Company policies and industry and government regulations. Seeds opportunities to attract retain and expand customer relationships, focusing on HSBC’s global presence, customer needs and international capabilities to attract Premier and International segment clients for personal and small business accounts. Ensures every customer feels satisfied, cared for and delighted with their experience each and every time they contact us. Ensure customers and prospects know they are in the right hands by responding to complex sales and service inquiries from Premier and International customers on multiple product lines received via telephone and mail, according to established procedures and standards. Provide a quality interaction focusing on meeting customer needs, utilizing professional tone and demeanor to build and maintain relationships and foster customer loyalty.
Resolve inquiries focusing on first point resolution through utilization of empowerment, ownership and care for the customer experience. Provide timely, complete and accurate response to international customers; ensure all request are correctly managed and the customer is advised and satisfied with the resolution. Correspond with customers utilizing various PC-based software packages focusing on professional, customer-focused responses that ensure resolution. Utilize outlines or own initiative to compose responses and letters for senior management signature. Ensure proper measurement and reporting of Group referral activities and related business development. Maintain complete and accurate documentation of activities as required. Provide support to International Banking Center project initiatives, including international e-mail and account servicing. Complete other responsibilities, as assigned. Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues. Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of an Associate's degree in business, related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years proven and progressive sales or service experience or equivalent
Proven analytical, planning, communications, organizational, problem-solving, sales and customer service skills
Professional tone, enthusiasm, demeanor and pride to care and ensure customer contacts create a satisfying experience each and every customer interaction
Knowledge of pertinent Company and Group products, international and domestic services, processes and operations and regulations impacting their delivery
Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
