Job Description
PART-TIME OPENINGInvestigates and verifies complex customer adjustments, for example:
- encoding errors
- items paid twice
- source of receipts
Monitors, reconciles and collects on deficiencies for certain key banking relationship accounts with other financial institutions, Federal Reserve Bank, Fidelity, etc. Reconciles and investigates the differences and adjusts accordingly all General Ledger accounts assigned to Research and Adjustments. Provides feedback on the design and improvement of services and products for the Research & Adjustments Unit. Maintains quality of work and clarity of thinking under demanding conditions while handling the complex daily processing issues. Successful candidates must be organized, take initiative, work interdependently within a team environment, effectively communicate with branch staff and other areas in Client Services Department. Must be flexible.
Job Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent experience acceptable
- Three to five years of banking experience with emphasis in Indirect Client Services and/or Deposit Operations, and/or Research and Adjustments
- Demonstrates an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of Personal Computers and software packages.
- Ability to interact with others in the organization. Effective human relation skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of deposit operations in general and research and adjustments in particular
