Responsible for overseeing the development of product marketing and product planning activities for one of ADP�s product categories. Works with BU Presidents, CIO, Developers and Product Managers across Employer Services to ensure vision/strategy is aligned and is being applied consistently in all markets. Partners with the PR/Media group to establish ADP as a thought leader.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead vision/strategy for product category. Work closely with Business Unit Product Managers to identify targeted segments, ensuring consistency and alignment across all of Employer Services.

2. Work with BU Presidents and Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market and pricing policies across all business units support single strategic vision.

3. Identify distinct customer segments, prioritize areas of focus and determine the segment needs and characteristics.

4. Identify market gaps across entire product category. Work with BU Presidents and division Marketing teams to ensure alignment across ES.

5. Identify overlaps in current offerings of entire product category. Develop high level product rationalization strategy, and review product budgets to identify expense duplicity.

6. Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements and design cross-BU shared products. Ensure product definitions and roadmap align to vision, strategy and segmentation.

7. Manage development of cross-BU shared products; ensure cohesive cross-BU planning.

8. Ensure consistency and provide guidance on pricing policies and guidelines.

9. Monitor overall category performance and ensure appropriate resolution of issues. Incorporate best practices across BUs.

Job Requirements
1. Education: MBA in Marketing (or the equivalent in education and experience)

2. Experience: 8 � 10 years extensive experience in a service oriented marketing management position. Strong product knowledge will be a huge asset; authored articles, speaking and/or moderating experience at industry trade conferences desirable. Must be able to interface with and influence key internal stakeholders, as well as interact effectively with C-level client contacts and industry analysts.

3. Generic Skills: Must be able to lead project teams and influence leaders without having a formal reporting relationship. Strong communication skills are critical to this role, as the incumbent will be working across business lines and will also represent ADP externally to our clients as it pertains to the product.
