The Supervisor is responsible for management of Wellness staff including the organization and development of high performing teams. Aetna's Wellness and Healthy Body Healthy Weight Program offers personalized telephonic support to members whose health is at risk. The Supervisor will hire new staff, communicate performance expectations, track and measure staff performance and provide coaching through one on ones and staff meetings. Work closely with managers (re: Case/Disease Management) ensuring consistency in care management interventions across membership. Facilitate effective interfaces among team members, as well as across teams, providers and Aetna departments. Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Aetna's medical management services policies and procedures. Accountable for meeting the financial, operational and quality objectives of the unit.
The Supervisor must have appropriate medical knowledge to provide supervision and guidance to staff and have strong leadership and decision making skills in order to accomplish the goal of building a high performance team. RN, RD or other clinical professional required. Wellness or Disease Management coaching excperience preferred. Prior Management experienced preferred. Must be willing to be flexible with hours. Hours for this position may vary between the hours of 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. Preferred hours can be discussed during the interview process.
