This position works closely with the Channel Marketing Manager and Channel Marketing team, Product Marketing, Sales and Channel Partners on the execution of specific channel promotions, reporting and marketing development funds. Tasks may include project management, participation in promotion development, working with channel partners, implementation and monitoring to support programs that increase Zebra market share through targeted channels of distribution. - Under the direction of the Channel Manager, works closely with distribution channel partners via phone to assist them in implementing co-marketing projects to appropriately utilize Zebra’s Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and administer Zebra promotions in the most effective manner.
- Tracks, monitors and reports on program and MDF performance and utilization against objectives to measure program results. Maintains status reports to include activities in process, planned activities and financial status.
- Provides support to channel partners and the sales team on promotions, MDF and activity utilization, including claim status and on-going promotion support.
- Ensures MDF marketing spend and programs are implemented according to Zebra's guidelines and contractual agreements
- Prepares, supports and administer annual budget process, bi-annual reallocation process and quarterly accrual process to Zebra accounting standards and department objectives.
- Develops quarterly MDF ROI (return on investment) analysis and provides summary of trends and results for the team and channel partners.
- Provide training on MDF systems with channel partners and sales resources as needed. Training to include processes, practices, procedures and implementations as well as provide spending updates.
- Collaborates and coordinates with internal and external resources to execute and monitor programs, to develop tools and obtain appropriate support materials. Activities include maintaining status reports, action item tracking and creating meeting notes for project team.
- Prepares and coordinates partner meetings and webinars and executes related communication and meeting logistics. Includes supporting event onsite, supporting and executing communication elements, working with internal and external stakeholders on pre-meeting requirements.
- Manages day-to-day activities related to promotional plans and monitor promotional performance against objectives.
- Interprets and enforces marketing program policies.
- Provides input to Channel Marketing Manager regarding promotion needs and requirements.
- Provides content for promotions for publishing to internal and external communications
- Maintains high degree of confidentiality, as position will have advance access to Zebra and customer business plans.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- BA or BS in marketing or related field preferred
- At least three years of marketing experience in a fast paced environment
- At least three years in a customer facing position
- Strong multi-tasking, customer service, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Exceptional detail orientation.
- Demonstrated high degree of initiative
- Proficiency in work processing and spreadsheet PC applications
