Transaction Support Services Director

RSM McGladrey�s Transaction Support Services (TSS) team consists of approximately 50 professionals nationwide that work with private equity groups and strategic buyers to help maximize value at every point in the transaction lifecycle. Our centralized approach to client service provides the perfect blend of speed to market, deep transaction expertise and international capabilities. Dedicated teams are the strength of our transaction support services practice. We work seamlessly with professionals from other disciplines � including tax, operations, human resources and information technology� and apply a consistent methodology to provide a higher level of service. This integrated approach allows us to serve clients across the entire transaction process.

The East Region Transaction Support Services team is on an aggressive growth curve and we are looking for a high performing director who can help take our TSS team to the next level.

The TSS director develops and manages client relationships, leads due diligence projects, and helps other team members understand the deal environment. In addition, this position shares responsibility for business development and overall TSS development.

Responsibilities:
� Business development for prospective clients, preparing proposals and engagement letters
� Manage projects and lead teams from start to finish, including report delivery and managing client expectations
� Lead client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to obtain pertinent information for financial analysis
� Perform (as part of a team) financial and operational due diligence for clients who are acquiring businesses
� Prepare detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements
� Interact with the other functional areas of the practice including tax, assurance and consulting practices

Basic Qualifications:
� Bachelor�s degree with an emphasis in accounting or related field of study
� Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the transaction practice of a national public accounting firm or mid-sized consulting firm
� CPA certification

Preferred Qualifications:
� Proven transactions practice development experience within a national, regional or large metropolitan practice
� Experience serving middle market clients
� Proven ability to manage staff on projects of varying sizes, along with a passion for developing and retaining talent.
� Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with appropriate client executives and establish a signification level of trust and respect
� Available to travel overnight up to 30%
� Strong project management skills
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Demonstrated industry knowledge and business acumen
� Masters in Business Administration or related field
