Fresenius Medical Care Rx is currently recruiting for a Director of Sales and Marketing for Atanta, GA.
Fresenius Medical Care Rx, a national retail pharmacy, is a division of Fresenius Medical Care North America.The pharmacy provides patients with all of their prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and diabetic testing supplies directly through the mail at no additional cost.

- Responsible for the growth and development of new business opportunities within assigned Division to meet Fresenius Medical Care Rx and Division goals for customer growth. Utilizes selling and marketing experience skills and business acumen to grow and develop Fresenius Medical Care Rx through effective marketing of FMCRx Pharmacy Services. Maximizes competitive knowledge of Fresenius Medical Care Rx; products and services as well as current/potential clients to achieve growth plans and goals.
- Provides leadership in formulating, representing, and implementing, at the Divisional level, the corporation's goals and objectives regarding Fresenius Medical Care Rx growth initiatives.
- Creates and implements business growth plans and initiatives.
- Develops sound business relationships with physicians and physician groups for Fresenius Medical Care Rx to facilitate organic growth objectives. Serves as the communication liaison between physicians and Fresenius Medical Care Rx.
- Develops close relationships and communications with RVPs, Director of Operations, Operation's Managers, Area managers, and other internal departments to implement growth initiatives within the assigned division.
- Positively and professionally represents Fresenius Medical Care Rx in contacts with physician groups, focusing on improved communications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Major in marketing, healthcare, or clinical designation preferred (dialysis experience a plus). Minimum of five (5) years of outside business sales experience with a demonstrated record of achievement and/or relevant dialysis marketing experience.
- Prior healthcare, dialysis experience, and/or regulatory agency responsibility preferred.
- Highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills, oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others.
- Prior business development exposure from evaluation through integration and implementation.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to follow compliance regulations
- Skilled in problem identification and resolution
- Able to build relationships; presenting and interacting with physicians as well as other clinical personnel
- Ability to effectively prioritize work load and tasks to effectively meet established deadlines.
- Understands healthcare services, financing, and referral relationships.
- Ability to make effective and convincing presentations to all levels of management and ownership
