Job Requirements

As an Experienced Sales Professional within the first year you will:
  • Learn within 3-4 months the intricate business model of one of the most dynamic and interesting Fortune 500 companies in the world by professional sales and product training facilitated by industry experts
  • Grow your assigned territory
  • Cold calling brokers and agencies. You will also be required to establish and maintain mutually benefiting relationships
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our products and the benefits each one offers
  • Educate brokers, agents and customers on a regular basis
  •  Conduct product presentations and training sessions
  • You will get an opportunity to work on quotes that will generate our best selling opportunities
  • Partner with our brokers and engage in a consultative partnership not only to help grow our business but their businesses as well
  • Teaming up with administrative staff to effectively address account management issues
  • Meet and/or exceed activity goals as it relates to number of new clients, quote activity, broker relationships, and sold premium In order to make a significant contribution to our Sales Team, we will focus our search on an Experienced Employee Benefits Sales Professionals with a proven track record of success in sales. Ideally, you have been selling group ancillary products through the broker distribution channel. Not only do we offer company and product support, you will also be supported by a non-producing Sales Manager who focuses on your development both personally and professionally. Assurant Employee Benefits offers an exceptional benefits package, including pension, 401(k), and employee stock purchase programs. We offer a base salary + 12 month guarantee + first dollar commission on all sales, paid business expenses and abundant sales incentives.
