The incumbent will be a member of the Process Development team supporting activities related to manufacturing of biological products. Responsibilities and Duties - Responsible for the development, improvement, and scaling-up of recombinant and/or plasma derived proteins. - Design and conduct experiments related to upstream and downstream processes associated with manufacturing of biologics. - Provide input for related process validation activities - Maintain company policies and with consideration of regulatory compliance issues related to product quality, manufacturing, and facilities. - Serves as a consultant to management with technical expertise by presentation of project proposals. - Directs projects teams and effectively allocates department resources for completion of projects - Maintains current knowledge of developments related to areas of specialization and applies that knowledge to company goals. - Participates in management training to maintain and develop leadership skills. - Conducts career development discussions with associates.
Job Requirements - BS + 8 years OR MS + 6 years OR PhD and 4-5 years relevant experience in a relevant Life Sciences based discipline - 4 years experience in biological manufacturing.
