The Communication Release Manager is the central point of contact for the release of member and physician directed marketing communications. This position is responsible for providing final approval to the release communication list data to vendors based on the use of approved SOP’s. The Communication Release Manager supports the tracking of scheduled communication release activities using MRM software Affinium Plan.
This position requires Marketing Program Operations, Reporting and Project Management abilities.
Management Responsibilities to Execute Communication Release Management
oExecute the defined communication release SOP's for quality control, sign off and tracking of communications.
oManage the daily ‘File Release Process’ for member communications to ensure SOP adherence and the capture of required approvals.
oProvide final approval to release communication list data to vendors.
oSupport CRP Manager for use of approved list pull departments and SOP adherence for clients with sensitive communication needs (e.g. exclusions).
oFacilitate and track all communication release, development and change related activities.
oExecute reports to monitor communication release dates (to vendor and to member / prescriber); record and report on all incidents (defects) reports via Affinium Plan.
Management Responsibilities for Process Oversight and Control
oTrain staff for the use of Affinium Plan and the communication release management process; execute classroom training sessions and provide desk side support as needed.
oDevelop, monitor and enforce communication release management processes; ensure compliance to Marketing Operations SOP’s.
oAnalyze control metrics to identify gaps and non compliance to Marketing Operations SOP’s.
oEscalate ‘yellow & red’ communication release projects to management for proactive management and remediation.
oAudit adherence to communication SOP’s and supporting approval processes.
oFoster communication between Marketing Operations teams and communication product owners.
oOther duties required as directed by the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations.
Job Requirements
5 years marketing operations project management experience
Working knowledge of Unica Affinium Plan (MRM Software), SDLC, release practices and QC methodologies.
Familiarity with Six Sigma concepts and direct marketing campaigns.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated analysis, organization, and planning skills
Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
Quick learner and desire to enhance skill set utilizing reporting tools (e.g. Cognos)
Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks.
Ability to influence and work effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
Pharmacy benefits management experience preferred.
