Vice President, Marketing 

The Vice President, Marketing directs the analysis of product and market opportunities and is responsible for innovative product development, positioning, pricing, service and distribution strategies to a high level of customer satisfaction.  Responsible for implementing department goals, distribution/sales strategies, marketing plans and actively drives the implementation of such plans.


 


Essential Duties:


 


1.  Total profit and loss responsibility with entrepreneurial growth and develop marketing policies which are consistent with Company plan.


2.  Grow and develop department staff.


3.  Manage and create all market, advertising, distribution, sales and promotional programs.


4.  Produce market/company strategy, tactics, and leadership.


5.  Market and product research.


6.  Support Strategic Sourcing/Purchasing to develop relations with key quality suppliers.


7.  Address global opportunities with international divisions.


 


 


Requirements:


 


*Minimum of ten years Marketing related, senior level category management experience in consumer products.


*BS/BA in Business, MBA a plus.


*Proven track record of product development creativity, sales growth and profitable results.


*Complete P&L understanding from product cost analysis to financial assessment of the overall business.


*Entrepreneurial drive to take a business into new, uncharted territory, find and develop new products and programs.
