Job Description

Successful candidates will be highly motivated, energetic, creative, and innovative You will be responsible for the design and coding of features throughout the entire application suite. Candidates must be prepared to be engaged in technically challenging, aggressive, and rewarding initiatives.
 
 
Core Requirements
  • 2 or more years of developing flexible, scalable, and highly-available software in Java, and an SOA architecture across all application tiers
  • Demonstrable competence with Java 1.5+ language features and APIs
  • Ground-up experience with authoring MS SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
  • An understanding of XML, including namespaces and schemas
  • A solid understanding of SOA concepts
  • An understanding of secure development practices for web applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor other team members within any of these technologies 
     
    Desired Skills
  • Spring 2.5 (with annotations) and Spring-WS
  • ClearCase/ClearQuest, Subversion, CVS, or comparable version control systems
  • Performance tuning within Java and MS SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL
