Classification: Full-time
Compensation: $60000 to $70000 per year
Immediate start for a Senior Accountant to groom to controller in the next 3-5 years for our client in a continued growth pattern in central Louisiana! Robert Half Finance and Accounting is working with our client who is ready to interview immediately for the senior accountant to train directly with the CFO who is establishing his succession plan. The ideal candidate will have a four year accounting degree from an accredited university, 5+ years of fully cycle accounting experience (accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and month end close) preferably in the hotel or hospitality industries. Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook and mid-sized accounting package (such as Quickbooks) preferred and excellent communication skills required for day to day written and verbal contact with executive management. 4 year accounting degree, 5+ years Intermediate Journal Entries, Intermediate Bank Reconciliations, Intermediate Financial Reporting, Intermediate General Ledger in a corporate office overseeing multiple hotels and properties, Intermediate MS Excel, US - Cert Public Accountant - CPA or CPA candidate
