Kelly Healthcare Resources (KHR) specializes in providing highly skilled nursing and allied health professionals within hospitals and other health care facilities, as well as positions in sectors such as insurance, pharmaceutical, health management, and education.
We currently have an exciting a 12 Month Contract opportunity for a Occupational Health Nurse to work for an Pharmaceutical company located in Rochester, NY. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities and prospects for professional growth include: - Respond and treat all medical emergencies. - Educate and assist employees regarding medical/health - Assist in drug screening and EAP when necessary - Assist with health promotion programs such as flu shot, blood drives, and health fairs. - Maintain complete and accurate health records on individual employees - Assist with medical equipment and supply inventory maintenance - Maintain medical logs and lists as necessary.
Education and experience required: - B.A Degree in Nursing is preferred. - Current License to practice of state of New York needed. - 2-3 years of Occupational Health Nursing experience - Must have CPR and First Aid certificates - Ability to make independent nursing judgments and basic physical assessments.
