Eurand is a global specialty pharmaceutical company that develops, manufactures and commercializes enhanced pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical products based on its proprietary drug formulation technologies. We now seek an individual capable of successfully developing effective, sustainable EH & S systems, programs and processes.

With insuring compliance with federal/state/local regulations and corporate policies, strategies and objectives as your primary goal, you'll partner with business groups to promote employee compliance; perform/report EH & S metrics ; obtain/maintain records, licenses, permits, etc.; and perform safety analysis/risk assessments, training, industrial hygiene evaluations, internal audits, inspections and data collection/analysis. Candidates must have a BS degree in a technical discipline, EH & S training and 5+ years' related experience that includes EH & S regulatory compliance. Knowledge of pharmaceutical processing, cGMPs, flammable solvent handling and OSHA PSM requirements is highly desirable. Strong decision-making skills a must.
