Job Function:  Responsible for managing OptumHealth Vision's business relationships with Key Retail Network Providers within the U.S.  Develops and services existing and new Providers, makes business review and new program presentations, creates business plans, develops strategies and responds to Provider needs.  Ensures that contracted rates and reimbursement policies are applied accurately.  Drives provider performance improvement strategies, cost containment programs and special projects that directly impact the operational and financial performance of the network.  Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with retail providers. Works with both internal and external customers to identify and resolve complex problems. 
 


Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years of experience working in a managed healthcare environment
• Proven contract negotiation skills/experience with managed healthcare providers
• Experience working with optical providers is a plus
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to present data in a concise manner to multiple internal and external business partners
• Proficient user of MS Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
