Dispatcher / Router

Description TRANSPORTATION Dispatcher/Router WINCO FOODS is now hiring a hourly dispatcher to work out of our warehouse in Boise, ID. Responsibilities include the route planning and scheduling for the delivery of dry, refrigerated and frozen food products to our stores, the dispatching of drivers, assignment of equipment to routes based on weight and length. Must be motivated, organized, have strong verbal and written communication skills, will have the ability to follow directions while working independently in a multi-task environment, can exercise good judgment under pressure, is creative with problem-solving while being very detailed, accurate and self-directed. A working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word and a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Our Distribution Centers are a 24 hour/7 day a week operation and the ability to work a varied work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
