Seeking team player as well as independent programmer to help our customer develop specialized applications performing various key functions.
Assist in continuing software development tasks contributing to the next generation of a web application and interface using AJAX, Mod-Perl and SQL, interacting with an Oracle Database, MySQL DB, and Sybase.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
5 + Years experience as a Software Engineer supporting software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools and integration (with both new and legacy systems).
Experience using software version tools ( CVS or SVN ).
2 + Years experience as a web developer within the past 4 years (web technologies in order of importance: Mod-Perl, Mason, JavaScript, SQL, XML, WSDL, Apache).
2 + Years experience within last 4 years integrating data from multiple sources and various data formats into a unified data processing and delivery environment.
1 + Year experience as a PERL programmer within past 2 years.
Comprehensive understanding of AJAX.
Familiar with Regular Expression (REGEXP)use.
Familiar with UNIX and Apache 1.x and 2.x running on a UNIX platform.
Work experience with programmatic interfaces to relation database and Object Oriented Programming.
Working familiarity with software engineering standards and practices.
Required Education:
Prefer Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4+ years) of experience in related field performing similar type of IT Programming.
Required Work Experience:
6-8 years of software programming experience.
Other Desirable Requirements:
Ability to obtain high level Security Clearance required
