Advice Nurse

The Advice Nurse is a telephone triage position in our Clinical Contact Call Center environment in which allows the patient to be assessed based on established protocols, note taking via our online Advice Note System (ANS), and providing specified diagnostic results to members.  There is no “hands-on” interaction with the members in this position.

Qualified candidates will have:

  •  One year of experience as a RN in a clinical setting
  •  A current Virginia RN license
  •  A BSN is preferred
  •  Basic typing skills with the ability to type 35 words per minute
  •  The ability to pass a basic windows test at interview
  •  Bilingual ability preferred
  •  The ability to pass a standard medication test and a standard medical advice test/Performance Based Developmental Systems (PBDS) test
