Responsible for data entry and processing related to all insurance correspondence in an accurate and timely manner for a high volume production department. Must accurately apply procedural knowledge and guidelines for appropriate handling of documents. Process all insurance related correspondence including necessary research and contact with customers and/or carriers, and provide documentation to support actions taken. Provide back up support to call center by handling calls during peak call volume. Various administrative duties (i.e. faxing, photocopying, imaging prep, etc.) and production tracking. Requires HS Diploma or equivalent and 3 - 5 + years - Functional experience. Must have the ability to multi task with attention to detail and accuracy. Must be customer oriented with effective comprehension, listening, verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work well in a high volume production environment and meet established goals. Must have the ability to work well with others and follow directions. 3 or more years of data entry experience or equivalent, preferably in an insurance environment. Working knowledge of AS/400 programs, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes a plus.
Skills/ Requirements
MUST possess an active Property & Casualty Insurance license for a minimum of 6 months or equivalent. MUST complete required Continuing Education to maintain an active Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Prefers candidate to be Texas Licensed.
