Maintenance Supervisor - Manufacturing
Location: Portland, OR

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance work in assigned department. Incumbent will have responsibility to achieve productivity, efficiency, customer service, cost, quality, safety objectives through both individual and team contributions. Provides direction, leadership, development and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and continuous improvement initiatives.
 
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the supervisor of an hourly maintenance workforce, providing direction, leadership and development to your team members.
 
Position Overview:
 
This position offers challenging projects, professional growth opportunities and the ability to work with the best in the industry. It will allow you to develop your maintenance and supervisory skills, learn complex job processes, and achieve desired results for multiple production lines/departments.
 
Provide maintenance leadership to Portland facility through organizing, planning and implementing programs which will support preventative and corrective maintenance and continuous improvements. Responsibilities include budget, service contracts and purchasing accountability as well as driving improvement of asset productivity, implementation of best practices while ensuring safe operations at all levels. Provides leadership and training to hourly employees in existing and new job processes.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for thesupervision, direction, and accountability of the maintenance work crews, approximately 10 - 18 reports to perform maintenance.
Evaluates and assesses hourly personnel to determine training needs and develops employees to improve their maintenance skills.
Lead troubleshooting activities with work crews and utilize all available resources to correct maintenance issues in an expedient manner.
Salary Range: $50k - $60k w/6% annual bonus
Plus OT

Job Requirements

BS/BA 4 year degree required
 
1-3 years of supervisory experience, manufacturing environment. Experience working in a Union environment highly desired.
Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime as needed.
Proven experience and desire in coaching and developing teams.
Strong organizational and proven project management skills; results driven with demonstrated results
 
Solid interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
 
Strong analytical/critical thinking
 
Strong accountability and follow-through skills
