Controls Engineer Job

One of the world's leading manufacturers of chemical products, serving the North American continent is actively seeking a DCS & Controls Engineers, with a good understanding of current Yokogawa DCS and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day, long-term technical support for the Yokogawa DCS, associated interfaces and various PLC applications
• Maintain control stategies which safely and reliably meet operating requirements of the facility
• Configure and test control system and operator interfaces
• Insure ancillary equipment is properly maintained
• Maintain drawings and other relevant documentation to insure long-term viability of systems
• Train faculty staff in proper system operation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required: engineering or technical disciplines preferred
• Minimum of 3+ years work experience with Distributed Control System (DCS) configuration, networking, commissioning, and technical long-term support
• Experienced use of CURRENT Yokagawa DCS and PI preferred
• Recent process industry experience preferred (chemical, petro-chemical Process)
• Demonstrated leadership skills
