Master's Degree 5 plus years experience Presby's Inspired Life has an opportunity for a Vice President of Human Resources.  

This position develops Human Resources policies and programs for Presby's Inspired Life.  The major areas covered are organizational development, employment, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits and safety and health. Originates Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide a balanced program throughout all communities.  Assists and advises the President and senior management on Human Resources issues.  Develops and initiates new programs and services which are related to the organizations strategic long-range plans. Evaluates need for initiation, extension, modification, or curtailment of services or benefits. Develops short-term and long-range plans to carry out the mission of the organization.Basic Qualifications Education/Training: bachelor's degree and appropriate business experience in management, human resources or organizational development. Masters preferred. Specialized training in organizational planning, compensation, and preventive labor relations. Skills: Proficient interpersonal and communication skills as well as ability to interact appropriately with residents, board members and staff at all levels of the organization. Good knowledge of business and legal practices, procedures, and documents. Superior skills in planning, organizing, time management and handling multiple tasks. Confidentiality is essential. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible. Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. Resourceful and well organized. Participative management style--advocate of team concept. Ability to establish credibility and able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities. Results and people oriented, have sound judgment, the ability to balance all business considerations. Service oriented. Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals. Demonstrated managerial ability. Experience: At least 10 years of increasingly responsible experience in administration and human resources. Five years experience in a leadership position. Prior experience with successful companies who practice effective Human Resources Management. Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, and training and development. Well-developed administrative skills. Strong management skills. Experienced working with in a multi-site organization.
