Physical Therapist

PSA Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced pediatric Physical Therapist to be responsible and accountable for the evaluation, coordination and administration of physical therapy services in a center based program for medically fragile children located in Melbourne, Florida. Children range in age from birth to 18 years of age. There is NO TRAVEL, weekends, holidays, or on-call required for this position.

Working with the experienced team at PSA Healthcares' Pediatric PPEC Center you have the opportunity to provide quality care to your patients using state of the art equipment within a safe and sterile environment.

Required Skills:
To be considered for employment by PSA Healthcare for this Opportunity, you must be able to meet the following requirements, with or without accommodation.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must have 2 years experience working in this field w/pediatrics
- Must be a FL MEDICAID provider
- Must have an NPI number
- Current Continuing Education if required by state
- Diploma, Associate or Bachelor degree from state accredited program
- Demonstrated proficiency in assessments, documentation and compliance with patient care standards as well policies and procedures
- Good organizational and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting and repositioning of patients
- Repeated or prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, twisting and occasional
- climbing of stairs
- Acute sense of sight and hearing (corrected or uncorrected) and strong sense of touch, smell and taste
- Agility and strength sufficient to handle patients and equipment without assistance
- Must be able to appropriately respond physically and psychologically to emergency situations
- Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other health conditions
