Kohler Co., a world class manufacturer of engines, power generation systems, kitchen and bath products, distinguished furniture, and renowned for luxurious hospitality business is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for our Hattiesburg, MS, Engines facility.

Under the direction of the Mgr-Human Resources, this position supports the business unit by leading business unit managers in the activity of linking HR to the success of the organization with in-depth knowledge of HR processes and procedures. This position interfaces with all aspects of the business unit, its customers, and especially associates, bringing HR activity into alignment to organizational goals and helping the organization succeed through progressive and responsive HR practices. This position is the link between the business unit and common Kohler HR values.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (Master's degree preferred), and a minimum of three years experience with progressively more responsibility and a track record of results. PHR Certification is a plus. A well qualified candidate will be able to successfully maneuver through various HR problems based on a solid command of HR processes, procedures, and employment laws, and independently work through employee relations issues for exempt and non-exempt associates.
