Flash Prototype Developer - Mobile Design

As the Flash Prototype Developer within our client's Mobile Design team, you will draw a combination of multimedia features, such as text, sound, graphics, animation and video according to a Designer/Researcher's specification. You will utilize your ability to build prototypes in Flash and a combination of creative and technical skills in communication and problem solving.

This is an estimated 2-3 month contract position through Volt Technical & Creative Communication - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Bothell, Washington. Required Skills for this Flash Prototype Developer position includes the following:

• Production experience in building and/or scripting motion design using After Effects or equivalent.
  
• Proven ability to rapidly produce simple to complex Flash/Flex/Air multimedia applications.
  
• Formal background in UI design practices.
  
• Knowledge in formal prototyping processes and methodologies.
  
• Experience working on Mobile platforms.
  
• Familiarity with software lifecycle production.
  
• Proven ability to execute debugging and testing to ensure delivery of functional expectations providing thorough technical support and proper planning for multiple prototype iterations.
  
• Ability to provide accurate project timeline assessment and deliver on-time.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
  
• Exceptional communication skills.
  
• Experience creating persistent data using XML/SQLite Database or network based.

Skills:

• Flash/Flex, ActionScript 2+/XML/MXML.
  
• Competent in Flash Lite 2+, After Effects, Photoshop, Silverlight/WPF, C#/XAML.

Desirable skills:

• Motion design experience.
  
• In-depth knowledge of After Effects.
  
• Writing programs in XAML or similar markup languages.
  
• Experience using authoring packages, where appropriate, to create content and effects.
