Job Description:
This position is contingent upon successful award of the Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Services Support (MiDAESS) contract located at The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Huntsville, Alabama. The anticipated award date is November/December 2009. Positions will be primarily based in Huntsville, Alabama, but may require work at other MDA sites.The Training Specialist is responsible for preparing and conducting education, training and development programs for employees.Responsibilities: Under general supervision, reporting to a manager of training or to a human resource manager, is responsible for providing technical expertise in the instructional design and development of training and development programs through the application of sound principles of communication and instructional technology, and/or provides stand-up training for a variety of needs. May be involved in the development of self-learning packages.
 


Job Requirements 

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelors degree in communications, business or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: This is an intermediate level position with 2+ years of curriculum development and/or stand-up training experience; an advanced degree may substitute for experience.Note: Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
