Job Description 

The Channel Marketing Specialist works closely with Channel Manager, Sales, Channel Partners, Marketing Communications and Product Marketing on the development and execution of specific channel partner marketing plans and programs that increase Zebra market share through targeted channels of distribution.

  1. Develop partner marketing programs, promotions and plans that support Zebra's corporate marketing objectives for specific set of channel partners.
  2. Utilizing expertise in channel partner business model, develop specific partner marketing plans that align to sales objectives and provide a positive ROI for Zebra and channel partners.
  3. Work closely with channel partners to assist them in developing marketing plans that utilize our MDF in the most effective manner.  Proving insight into specific marketing trends and tactics that the channel partner should consider for partner marketing plans.
  4. Manage channel specific budgets with include MDF Marketing, marketing tools, etc. Ensure that the overall program remains with budget and measuring MDF program performance overall and by channel partner.
  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design partner marketing actions that support overall marketing objectives.  Execute projects and report on results including recommendations for enhancements.
  6. Manage, monitor, measure and report promotion, program and partner marketing performance against objectives including ROI analysis.  
  7. Enforce partner marketing & Zebra’s channel program policies.
  8. Support Channel Manager as a point of contact for the channel team to support program, promotion and partner marketing activities.
  9. Travel up to 25% to work with VAR’s.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing
  • Three or more years of Sales and /or Marketing experience
  • Experience with an indirect channel of distribution model
  • Strong analytical , interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet PC applications
  • Demonstrated success in deploying a wide range of MarCom tactics with proven ability to create and monitor programs and proactively provide alternate recommendations to improve results.
  • Effective project and budget management skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
