Job Description
Sodexo, a world leader in food and facilities management is seeking a Senior Applications Architect to be responsible for our supply management back end reporting systems and vendor rebate systems. The Supply Management Systems Senior Architect will lead technically and work closely with business leaders to architect technical solutions and systems. Working closely with the enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence team, this person will architect all of the analysis and reporting for the back end vendor rebate system. Systems the senior architect include CaRMA, SAP, Brio Report Portal, Hyperion Essbase, ASP.NET, C# and VB.NET and Oracle / SQL Server. Seeking candidates with the following qualifications: BS in Computer Science or equivalent. 7+ years enterprise development experience and detailed technical knowledge of four or more of the following technology areas: Client-Server Development (Microsoft .NET and Java J2EE); Web Development (ASP.NET, JSP and HTML/JavaScript); Database Development (Microsoft SQL and Oracle 10g); Report Development (Brio Report Portal, SQR and BQY); Analytical Cube Development (Hyperion Essbase; Automated Testing Tools (HP Loadrunner, QuickTestPro. Demonstrated work experience within a Supply Chain environment including extensive knowledge of the following business processes: Vendor Rebates, Contract Management Systems, Income Allocations and Accruals, Electronic Procurement. Responsible for leading and coordinating project activities and release management, testing, job scheduling and on-call support activities for IS&T developed Supply Management applications and Third Party Vendor applications (DEV, QA, QAS, PROD, TRAIN, DR. Experience with integration to ERP systems (SAP) and Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW). Familiarity with UNIX and Windows server environments. Extensive understanding of IT Architecture including Networks, Multi-Tier Applications, Databases, Operating Systems, Security, and other infrastructure. Ability to operate in both a �hands-on� technical development role and technical project management role. Ability to define, drive and document both functional requirements and technical specifications. Seeking strong project management skill, process orientation, leadership and communication skills. Ability to work on multiple tasks and work independently. Ability to work with various areas of the organization to achieve results (technical and business users).
Position Summary:
Technical expert leads the application architecture and development efforts for enterprise level applications. Develops technical strategy for a particular application or suite of applications. Ensures system integrity and a stable system with proper controls and systems including up to date document applications architecture and development expert. Leads the team from a technical perspective in the areas of application architecture, systems analysis and design, and software programming. Creates technical specifications and high level system architecture diagrams. Works with business analysts to refine business requirements based on technical feasibility. Develops prototypes. Ensures that technical specifications are kept current during the development process. Ensures that the estimates in the technical specification are accurate. Defines the high level software development practices and policies.
Basic Education Requirement:
