Job Description
The Shaw Group provides premier engineering, design, construction, and maintenance services to government and private-sector clients in a wide array of industries, including the energy, environmental, infrastructure, and emergency response markets.
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all field engineering, document control and system turnover activities. Candidate will supervise field engineering staff and should be capable of construction planning, execution and cost control.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervises field engineering staff.
Capable of construction planning, execution and cost control.
Responsible for all field engineering, document control and system turnover activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
15+ years of experience in engineering and construction management.
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineer�s License in New York (active).
Resident Engineering experience at Water Pollution Control Plants.
Experience with NYC DEP
Good leadership and communication skills.
Possess a broad engineering knowledge and its application to construction practices.
Capable of developing effective technical solutions field problems.
Must be able to perform job with extended walking and climbing activities.
Must be able to work in a field (outdoors) environment.
