Our client in LaGrange, GA has an immediate opening for a Network Engineer. This is a direct hire position. Salary is $40,000 - 45,000.
Responsibilities: 1. Install all new hardware, systems, and software for networks. 2. Install, configure, maintain network services, equipment and devices. 3. Support administration of servers and server clusters. 4. Manage all system back-up and restore protocol. 5. Plan and support network and computing infrastructure. 6. Perform troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems. 7. Document network problems and resolution for future reference. 8. Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning. 9. Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam. 10. Oversee software and network security.
Technical Skills and Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Microsoft environment. 2. Systems: Windows & Cisco Systems 3. Networking: Switches, Routers, Hubs, Servers, Cables, Racks, Firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency and VoIP. 4. Certifications: MCSE 5. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar. 6. Thorough knowledge of networking essentials. 7. Strong analytical abilities and professional office experience needed.
