Organization Size:
The enterprise resource planning (ERP) role will lead an IT Operations Control organization overseeing ~235 ERP applications, and a workforce of ~100 HP employees. Experience managing a large, virtual global organization will be preferred. Proven ability and a track record of selecting, leading and developing talent, including people managers and junior executives.
- Global strategic planning and execution of all IT related functions in support of the HP business overall as well as the IT organization
- Extensive interfacing with internal IT and business executives involving leading IT strategies, enabling business strategies, project portfolio management and delivery, budget planning and management, systems availability, etc.
- Interfacing with external business executives and customers worldwide
- Formal presentations and keynote speeches to industry executives
- Complex Vendor Management
- People Management (large organizations)
- Technical Leadership within all levels of the organization
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience is required. Professional certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities include all aspects of executive level leadership and require technical proficiencies aligned with the corresponding organizational areas supervised.
Additional Requirements:
- 15 + years senior leadership experience in Information Technology within a large scale, global organization including:
- Background that includes hands-on technology (a programmer or written code).
- Responsibility for development and or support of major ERP and Middleware (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Siebel, remote procedure call, message oriented, object request broker, SQL)
- Candidate has successfully led major programs/projects including disciplines like architecture, database, communications/network.
